We worked with Loni for several months. Initially we were only interested in one property, but she listened to our family’s needs and followed up with us. She worked many late nights and ultimately found our new home FOR us. We would have never even looked at it if she hadn’t gently encouraged us to just take a short drive and see if this was the type of house we wanted. The moment we stepped out of the car, not only was it the type we wanted, we knew it was THE one. Although it was under a government program and we potentially wouldn’t be able to close for 4 months, Loni went right to work to get us in the home. Between her and our amazing lender she put us in touch with we were able to close within 2 months and the whole process went smooth because she walked us through every step. Would I recommend to someone looking to buy maybe but I’d make sure they were aware of what happened to us our mortgage loan was a hot mess thru no one’s fault our original lender was horrible so Loni helped us find new financing which was great the home buying process was so beyond stressful again not really anyone’s fault what I do fault is the fact we were told that the house would be painted that’s why we paid extra for our house we go walk thru the day of and it’s not painted so Loni says she’ll reach out to them we go into sign papers halfway thru she tells us nope they took our money because they had to wait a few extra weeks we should have walked than in there but I felt pressured and we bought this house we now both hate they didn’t fix the plumbing that supposedly they were going to we had to spend 3k we had to completely rewire the guest house because we had asked for it to be fixed and thought it was going to be but yet we had to spend 18k on that we were talked out of doing inspections we should have had done like our well which we had to spend 1500 to fix. We were 1st time home buyers and we trusted that we had a realtor that was looking out for us but now I question that. We’ve talked to other realtors who let us know that these are things she should have been on top of. Now we’re in a home that needs so much work and looking at spending somewhere around 8-10k to paint alone. If you’re going to work with Loni please do your own research and don’t rely on anyone to watch out for you.
